Where can a guy get a relatively cheap 10" barrel for the Encore?
Is there a barrel maker that offers blanks with the underlug already attached? With the cost of ammo and reloading supplies I want to get a barrel chambered for the 7.62 X 25. You can buy 1260 rds for $119.00. That is cheaper than reloading. At 1390fps it would make a good 100 yrd plinker.

I know MGM runs a "shorty" sale every now and then. The "shorty" is the left over piece from making an odd length custom barrel from a barrel blank. Give them a call and see what they have laying around.

I called MGM. I'll be getting it in four weeks. They had a 10" stub. Drilled and tapped for a scope mount and a Matte blue it came to $200.00. Thanks for the advice.
