You have the best video's. I have a female, just less than 6 months old, struck her first trail yesterday. Music to my ears. Never had a hound of any type before and I'm in love. Going out in a few minutes to try again. Any advice on loads for that 410 barrel?

I went from pow to Boom. I love the BOOM!

i found out the 2 1/2" shells pattern better than the three "shells.out to 25 yards with 2.5"in 4 shot you can/kill a rabbit dead, alot of my clips are bad shots, thats why i have to run them down before they hole up.
at 25 yards with 6 shot at a pizza box, many pellets went into the box but not through.all the 4 shot made it through.
loads with 7.5 shot is like throwing pepper at them at 20 yards and isnt good for what i shoot in

john--no never have,i really dont hunt anything other than rabbits, maybe some fox/coyote stuff, but when its not rabbit season, its dog training season.
i am sure with 7 1/2 shot a dove would fall to a 410 contender but i doubt after looking at the patterns i have shot the distance of 25 yards would be any better
