I ordered a used 45colt Ruger Blackhawk Hunter today,thanks to H2OBUG.So now I have ants in my pants,what's a man to do.The biggest reason for the purchase,other than my new found fondness for the 45colt round,is all the good reviews,Gary,Dan B.,MIHunter and a few others have spoke highly of this style gun.My next purchase is a scope,wouldn't mind a few ideas.Got any?

I have a 2X and 4X Weaver on my Hunter model guns. The 4X is on the .45LC. I R-E-A-L-L-Y like them both and not really sure which I would recommend totally. Guess you'll need two Hunters and both scopes!

I would put a Leupold 2X or 4X (I would choose the 4X for me) on it.
Good shooting.

I would go with a red dot, great for shots out to about 150 had one on a super red hawk one of the best set ups Ive used. Getting a ultra dot for my 460 very very soon here
