My pistol was delivered a couple of weeks ago. It was worth the wait and every penny invested. Greg is a top shelf gunsmith and all around great guy. This is a .338 based off of the 300WSM case. This pistol was built to be my new "go to" hunting pistol. It will be going to South Africa with me at the end of April for plains game and also to Montana this fall for a mulie/elk combo pack in hunt.

Single point action and bolt
Bushed firing pin hole
Double pin recoil lug
Sako extractor
GTR Lite steel firing pin and spring
15" Krieger 1-10 SS .367 NK
Muscle Brake w/ single top port (17OAL)
Cera Coated
Epoxy bedded McMillan stock
2.25# super crisp trigger
EGW 0MOA Base
Leupold VSR's
Burris 3x12 w/ B-Plex

Shawn,

I'm envious!!!. Please list some ballistics for the new "iron." Winchester felt that they couldn't get the best ballistics from the 338 WSM; hence, went to the 325 WSM. Not sure if that is just the "party" line from Winchester or what. I am in the process of building another XP in a 338 caliber, 338 Fed to 338 WSM. Let me know, my caliber decision may be based upon your results.

Very nice!

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Looking good.

Rod, too.
