Yes it was my idea. A version of that is on the back cover of Lipsey's fall catalog. They are the distributor of the Hunter in 45 Colt.

I knew you had to have that picture laying around somewhere I've looked at part of that picture in one of your articles "8 The Hard Way" trying to figure out what it looked like. I sure was hopeing you had it!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.........

Well.........that is all I needed to see. The Elite 3200 is for me. I'll be ordering tomorrow. It really looks a lot better on the "Hunter" than I thought it would. I just wanted to be sure the scope did'nt look too big for the gun. It does'nt! That looks sweet....... Thanks again Gary!!! I really do appreciate it!

Best,

Thats whats meant by a picture speaks a thousand words. Man that looks awesome. Going to have to add that to my wish list (along with a dealer in RSA that'll stock them).

The guns just shoot wonderfully. I have 3 and all are quite accurate, not like a single shot, but plenty good enough for about anything you would care to shoot out to reasonable distances.

Gary, and others, does Ruger make this Hunter model in the Regular grip and the Bisley grip? If so, which do you think is most comfortable? I have two Blackhawk Bisleys and I sure like them but have not shot the regular grip.

They make the .44 in both grip styles but I don't believe they make the .41 and .45 Colt in both, only the non-bisley.

Thanks Gary, I'm wanting a 45LC so I guess I will just have to get the regular grip. I'm sure it will work.

The supply of the 45's may be drying up so I would hurry. A couple months ago Lipsey's (the distributor that ordered them) only had about 30 left.

Gary,
Nice looking gun. I need one for myself. Maybe 45LC since I have a 44 SBH. Ruger's catalog list a Bisley grip on the Hunter model. If a person really wants a Bisley grip with on a Hunter frame, Brownell's sells coversion kits.

Found two different 44 Mag Hunters yesterday, new. Good price on both. I talked with my gunsmith last night and he is giving Lipsey's a call and will see if they have any 45LC Hunters. I sure want the 45LC. Great looking pistols.
