If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Nope......but I looked into that before deciding to stick with the 6.5x284.

More experienced here will have better answers but literally everything I found on the 6.5-06 was guys saying its a case capacity duplicate of the 6.5x284 so loads were interchangable, of course starting back a few grains or so and working up.

I think I read where A Square had legitimized it (proper term?) and I do know they make factory rounds and brass.

Necking up 25-06 seemed to be the popular process for those resizing.

Dang near went with it on the MOA I just ordered. I just was discussing this round with Ernie this AM.

I'm sure it's a hunter!!

Thanks for putting up with me and GOD BLESS!
Steve

My 6.5-06 like IMR 4350, 53grs, 120gr bullets,CCI 200 primers. The nosler 120gr BT shoot just a little tighter groups the 120gr sie.boats tails The sie.120's work better on whitetails than the nosler BT bullets just my 2 cents worth. I have a 26" #4.5 barrel.
