Im going hunting in Oct. I have 3 pistols to choose from. This for black bear now not Grizz.
1st one Lone Eagle 30-06 red dot scope Hand load rounds
2nd Striker 7mm-08 3x9 Burris Pistol scope hand load rounds
3rd Striker 243 3x12 Burris Pistol scope Hand load rounds

I can make hand loads as heavy or as light as I need. Suggestions please.

Almost certainly the Lone Eagle .30-06. Where and how will you be hunting?

708 is OK if you use a premium bullet(read that as Nosler PT or AB or Speer GS).

06 is definately the first choice and 708 will work with a good bullet.Shot placement will be the most vital.If it's guided be sure to ask where they prefer you to hit the bear and practice for that.Everyone who handles a bear outfit has a little differing opinion,they may be close but still be different,just my 2 cents.

Then the '06 is definitely the best of those 3 choices, and not just because of the caliber. That scoped Striker needs wheels for stalking
