Saw on the Barnes website that they have a new bullet called the Buster. Has a 325gr .452 projectile. Lead core thick copper jacket. Anyone used these. How do they compare to either the 300gr Hornady XTP Mag or a similar weight hard cast. Looking at use in .454 Casull.

Haven't tested them yet, but I wish they had a bigger meplat.....

Micheal458 on AR has tested them in 458 diameter in the 45-70 and they pentrated well and held up well

I agree with Whitworth, I'd also like to see a larger meplat

I saw those and I've considered getting some of the .458's to try in my 45-70 Lever guns.
