I think I may have sold my Striker 22-250. It was a great gun but I just really like the XP platform better (plus I have XP's in .222R and .222RMI). The Striker was longer and heavier.

So...what do I replace it with?? I keep thinking I want a new barrel for the Competitor in .223R (since I have TONS of .223 stuff) for plinking. Or get another 22-250 to use in the more compact Competitor handgun...a Competitor w/ 16" barrel is SHORTER than a Super 14 Contender.

Either choice would make a nice addition to my .308W and .357 Magnum barrels.

just had the same thing happen on my XP-100R, lol, but its still a new listing. Thought he seemed a bit "iffy" anyway so isnt a huge surprise. Things happen so I try not to judge. Been there done that myself.

also

I CLEARLY state what Ive an interest in for trades.

Ive been offered everything from AK-47s and AR-15s to black powder guns.....but NOT ONE revolver.

(PS.........I THINK you should buy my 260 and make it a switch barrel, buy a 22-250 barrel and maybe some huge-big-large hand hammer cartridge in another barrel so you'll be good from moose to "meeces". lol NEVERMIND THE FACT it would cost and arm and a leg ROFL)

All in good fun, all. Not worried about moving mine........yet, so kidding around.

Isn't swapping/selling/buying fun???? Be MORE fun if dang powerball would stop messing up and getting the wrong numbers EVERY week. rats Also be more fun if my X and youngest didnt need the old man to "contribute" so regularly but.....hey, FAMILY, what's a guy to do?

God Bless

Thanks for putting up with me and GOD BLESS!
Steve

Weather the Striker sells or not a 223 barrel for the competitor would be a good one. Everybody needs a 223 in each platform they own.

The Striker is now gone...again. But in trade for a Encore rifle. My friend is interested in the rifle so I'll end up being able to buy a new Competitor barrel anyhow.

Actually Dan, have you seen the .222 Mag JDJ... it is quite interesting; I have one. It is similar (same?) as the 222 RMI but I thought I would ask.

LOL!!!
I tell myself that every time I buy another one, Dan.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.
