Trying to post pics, hopefully this works. These pics are located in the bragging board, if not.

Check out the URL... see thumbs? that means it's a thumbnail image and when you blow that up to 500px it gets blurry. I removed the thumbs/ from the URL and it's fine.

Look good. What do they call that finish? It looks a lot like what CCR did on my 1911. What you got for stocks?

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Gary, thank you, sir. I love guns, hate computers.

S4s4u, Its Walter Birdsong's Black-T, in Flat Dark Earth tint. Here is a quick link on the techinal properties from Birdsong's website: http://www.black-t.com/technicalinfo.htm

I'm getting ready to send out 3 Bisley Gripframes for stocks, Black Micarta on this .44, Ivory Micarta on the velvet honed predator, and Buckeye wood for the Single Six. Both Predators were converted to Bisleys, so I need stocks.

Very nice!

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I was looking at http://www.klamathriverwoodworks.com/ for my grips. I was going to have Reeder do the grips, but he wants the whole gun, ... not just the grip frame. And I have no idea why?

On a side note: I really wasn't going for a 2-tone finish on the gun. I purchased a Bisley grip frame from an person on the Ruger Owners Forum that sold it to me as a Stainless Steel, when in fact we discovered it to be "carbon steel in the white" after fitted. While I am pleased with the end result, it definetly was a costly mistake.

Great guns!!

I like the two tone.

Grip color choice for the two tone could be a wide variety.

240grn&up, the 45LC is nice. I have a blue ruger blackhawk w/fluted cylinder and 7.5" barrel. Can Magnaport make a short barrel predator from it. New sites, shorten barrel, crown, action job? Maybe a SSK Chrome finish?

Mike

Im sure it wouldn't be a problem for them. Ruger revolvers are their bread & butter.

Most probably because he wants to make it a perfect fit, which requires the whole gun. Reeder does some fantastic grips, fit and finish. They feel great!
