Anyone shooting the 375 Winchester? I just picked up a 12" barrel for my contender. Was looking at getting some 220gr Sierra flat points to try. What bullet and powder combo are you using?
Thanks
Ray

Yes. Mine is also a 12" + brake. I got it last year but haven't taken any game with it. I will be using it for fall bear. Very accurate. I'm not near my data but will try and post this PM.

200-220 grain bullets over RL 7 work great for white-tail and wild hogs.

hardtimes,

I've used WW brass, WLR primer, 38.6 grains of Accurate 1680, with the Hornady 220 grain FP, accuracy 3/4" for 3 shots at 100 yards. Scope and bench, Bullberry 14" barrel

I have found IMR4198 with either the 220 Horn or 200 Sierra, CCI 200 Primers, WW brass w/ and overall length of 2.625 (+ -) to be just the ticket.

I have played with the little 75 Gr. .36 caliber round ball black powder bullets and found them to be great fun and neat for yard pests. 9.0 gr's of SR7625 gives me 2" groups at 30 yards and hits the same POA=POI (at 30 yds) as my big game load above.
