I personally haven't, but know others shoot them quite a bit. I think they especially like them with light loads for economy reasons. Merry Christmas!!!

I have harvested around 20 deer with the 35 rem and pistol bullets. I do not use the light weights for deer but 140-158 gr. work well on woodchucks and small stuff. I prefer H-322 in the 35 and shoot lots of Sierra 170 JHP power jackets. The old 180 Remington bullet works well and the 180 Hornady XTP is the best penetrator of the group. All shoot very accurately in my guns. The 170 Sierra seems to work the best when the range is streached a little. 200 gr RN bullets work well at closer ranges also. Start with 36 gr of H-322 and any of those bullets and work up until you find the power you are after and go shoot deer. Loaded properly the 35 Rem is hard to beat as a deerslayer in the contender.
