That should be a great hunting load--but at $2 each for the 44 it is pretty strong on price.

I agree but it should be a great load as you said. For some it's the price of not reloading.

What no 45 colt?

Eh if I don't cast the bullet myself I am not hunting with it anyways, it just me but I do find it odd that they have a 454 load but no 45 colt...

They do have A-frames in .452, but at a $1 each, still pretty steep. I found those at MidwayUSA. XTP's are still looking pretty good! :-)

The vital shok is hunting ammunition and my personal opinion is that very few companies are going to produce 45 Colt in a hunting round because of the liability of some nit-wit shooting it in an old colt or something and blowing up the gun.
