Hodgdon used to test that bullet. You can also go to Freedom ARms website and there is data listed for the 260 grain JFP bullet that they produced. You could start with that data and work up a load. GS

The Hodgdon site only lists a mild Trailboss load for that projectile. While I don't use that projectile. However I am using a 255 grain Westcastings lead SWC which isn't that diffrent. The load I'm using is 26 grains of AR2205 (sold as Hodgdon H4227 in the USA). Not a full house load but still packs a punch. The projectile has one of these modern coatings which doesn't lead up the barrel.
Have just bought a chronograph and hope to measure the velocity next weekend.
