I am trading for a stainless .44mag Super Blackhawk in a few days and I was thinking about having a custom job done on it? This would primarily be used for whitetails in Georgia with a max shot distance of 100yds. Who would y'all recommend and which conversion?

Thanks

Rod’s user name is Wapitrod. If you look over on the “Top Posters” over on the bottom right you will find it. You can email him at dixiefirearms@gmail.com or PM him on the sight. I don’t know if he has a business phone yet but I do know he is on a hunting excursion with his family for the next week or so and might be hard to get a hold of.

I would go with Jack Huntington or Magnaport. I've had one pistol customized by each and both do great work.

If I weren't changing calibers,I'd buy a wolf spring kit and install it along with a belt mountain base pin and shoot away.Nothing against any of the guys mentioned but as chaos said most super blackhawks work well enough.

If it's a caliber change you seek my vote is for Jack Huntington.

Thanks guys....this will be my second Blackhawk, now I just have to decide which way to go with it. Good thing though, I have lots of good choices. Now, if I just had lots of good money.
