I took a look at a SBH Hunter at the gun shop today. They front sight looks identical to my SRH front sight as far as how it mounts, etc. The next issue is sight height. The SRH front sights come in 3 sight heights. One would need to get a measurment to get it right on the Super Blackhawk Hunter.

Marble lists their Fiber Optic Sights as follows:

454 SRH = 0.310
44 SRH = 0.332
480 SRH = 0.390

This measurment appears to be from the Bottom Flat to the highest point on top.

IIRC, I used the .390" front with my ORH rear on my .41 Mag SBH Bisley Hunter. If using a standard notch rear I would try one size lower. If in doubt, call Marble's, Troy gave me the height recomendation and it was perfect. Green works the best, IMO, for all-around conditions.

Rod, too.

I agree completely on GREEN. I have a couple Red ones on different things, like my 10-22 front sight, I am changing them over slowly to Green, as I see it better than Red.

The Marble sight is very well made. I put one on my 44 SRH and my first 480 SRH. I would have a third one if anyone would get them back in stock. Our last 3 orders to Midway they have been out of stock, atleast in the Height/Color I need.
