Just completed a two day hunt at Goldmine preserve in NC. Myself, along with Franchise (and Ms Franchise), Jamesfromjersey, Jeffx and AnnieX had a great time. It was real nice getting to meet and hunt with other fellow handgun hunters and HH members. I broke in my FA 44 on a 4 horn ram; should make for a nice conversation piece and took a beautiful Corsican Ram with my FA 454. Being that I'm still currently at Goldmine, I can't post any photos with my phone, but will as soon as I can. Everyone here took some real nice trophies, but I won't steel...steal...still...what ever, their thunder....
\:D
They'll be able to post their self when they're able. Just wanted go say I had a great time and it was a great bunch of folks! I hate that some of the other members, that had planned on coming, couldn't make it, they missed out on a real good time. Oh, don't let AnnieX fool you, she can shoot!

Let me tell you that I hunted w/ some of the best folks in the world! I had a great time. The photos should all be posted soon. Annie took the biggest Russian boar, Jeff took the boar w/ the best cutters, James took five hogs and w/ his 475 there is NONE better at shooting on the run, and KRal took 2 of the best rams I've seen in a long time. I took a 1400 pound Yak bull. Everyone was really cool.

If anybody thinks a 7x30 won't take a big boar, Anniex sure proves them wrong.

Guy's, the hold-up on the photos is me...
Most of the pics of the hunt are on my camera...
\:D
But as soon as I can get them downloaded and distributed to the rightful hunters they'll be posted. I promise I'll get them out ASAP.

One of the great parts of this hunt was getting to see all of the cool handguns. The calibers that were represented were 7x30 Waters, 416 Barnes, 44 Mag., 454 Casull, 460 S&W Mag., and 475 Linebaugh. I got to see KRal's Reeder 475 which is the bomb! KRal got to shoot my Competitor in 376 Steyr. These are great gatherings to see and learn alot about other pistols. I hope for us to do this every year!

You need to come back this way but actually call when you get here this time James!
\:\)
Headed out for Fallow and hogs next week with some buddies. We'll see if this Mississippi boy can remember how to shoot I guess. KRal may have to reteach me things at some point, we'll see

Looks like you all had a great time, wish I was there to see it in person! Lets see the rest of the pictures........
