What wheeler45 said...It's hard to find, Federal has Nickel Brass but they seem to be on back order, along with all the other sites. IMO in my .460 the "Brass" works better and reloads longer.

Have you ever used Nickel brass??

The plain brass is is much softer and crips much better for me

JMHO


If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

I would just use the plain brass. I did run some nickel plated brass thru the decapping/resizing die and it took much more effort to pull the handle. I'm assuming that the nickel plating makes the brass harder?

I had the same issue with nickel brass in my 480

It was hard to put a good roll crimp on the nickel brass too.
