This was posted at SP by Dales wife or wolf as he calls her. I know Dale visited here a lot, so I figured she would not mind me posting it here also.

Ok, Here goes, Dale has not been on the boards at all this month of December. He is still in the hospital. It will be 6 weeks this coming Tuesday. He is very weak and still fighting the infection and gvhd. We do not know if the last antibiotic is working or not. Test will tell the tale. It is one day at a time. Tis the season for a miracle I say. I, "The Wolf" as Dale tenderly refers to me..... (only because I protect my family fiecely).. am hanging in there the best I can. I have put over 2,500 miles on my car in less that 3 weeks. Driving to Buffalo is a long trip. It is only 100 miles but, only 2 lane roads all the way. We live below the snow belt and have to drive through it to get to him. Thank goodness for an AWD vehicle. The top of Rushford hill can be very dark and lonely at 11:00 at night in blinding snow alone in a car where the brain can wander. ugh..... This has been a very long 3 years for Dale, myself, and the kids and we thank you all for all your support. If you need information please pm me as Dale does not use his computer anymore. He just lays in the bed and fights to live. I will keep you updated as best as I can but, for now stable , but, we need all the prayers you can muster.

I will keep Dale and his wolf (wife) in my prayers as we have been for a while now...
Lone Eagle-thanks for the heads up, keep us posted if you can.
I have talked to Dale on the phone several times and I assure all of you that do not know Dale: he is one real tough trooper and he has a very strong positive attitude. We talked about him coming on the next antelope hunt...
Please keep the prayers flowing.

I have sent Dales wolf a e-mail asking for contact info. Not sure when or if she will respond. I'm sure she does not get on very often between taking care of the kids and driving to the hospital to see Dale.
Greg, I posted it here because I thought it would get the most views. I'm sure Dale and his family can use all the prayers we can send there way!

This is the latest that Dales wife has posted over at SP. I have not received any contact info.

We are at Roswell to visit dale today. Christmas eve. He is in weak condition but fighting to stay on earth for the holidays. He is stable today and we are enjoying the visit. Thank you from all of us for the prayers and loving support. Linda

Oh my gosh. Tigger was a great guy and had been onboard here since the very early days. He was on here and posting very regularly and he will surely be missed by all of us.

Dale was among the best of us and not only in knowledge and ability but even more so as a person. I talked to Dale from time to time by phone, pm or email and he never had a cross word to say about anyone. Those that knew him better may know other wise but I don't think so. I believe from my conversations with him that he truly was just a good person with a good heart. I too will miss him and my prayers are with his family.

he truly was just a good person with a good heart i met dale in person, loafed with him in "chat" at specialty pistols, posted with him there at specialty pistols, posted with him here, and talked with him on the phone at least once, maybe more, think we also may have had a buy/sell/deal or two as well. the previous quote describes him for sure. we should all pattern our internet personality after him. we could all learn from his leadership. i will miss him forever.

He is one person who didn't deserve this with all the rif raf running around in this world. I guess the Good Lord had a purpose for him. He always treated me with the greatest respect, as I did him. He will surely be missed. He was a fighter he fought a good battle with cancer. I consider Dale a friend God Bless you Tigger where ever you are. lou
