I spoke to Dale via email very often. I will also remember his friendliness and joking around at the 1st anual SWPA long range handgun shoot. Dale was a great guy and I am sure the pain and loss we feel is nothing compared to what his wife and kids are going through. I know in my heart where Dale is; my thoughts and prayers are for his family. We will think of Dale at every shoot we have. I encourage everyone who can attend the next shoot to do so. We can hold the next one in his honor! We will miss you Tigger.

Dale was one of the first to welcome me here at HHM. In big red letters he wrote welcome. My heart was very heavy when i heard he past away. Always one to jump in and try to help out a fellow handgun hunter with any problems he or she my have. He will be greatly missed.

MY prayers go out to his family.

God bless you Tigger, I'll see you in Heaven.

I didn't know him but want to convey my condolences to Dale's family at this trying time. I'm not a praying man but I sincerely wish them all the best.

Dales wife Linda sent me a e-mail saying how much she appreciated all the posts about Dales passing!

This is what Linda said about the funeral. I don't think she would mind me sharing it here.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The funeral was yesterday and although an awful event it was beautiful and you would all be proud to know I followed it to the specs of Dale's wishes. My casket spray was oak twigs, pine boughs blue and silver and white outdoorsy flowers. It was huge and very manly. Just they way he would want it.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like Dale went out in class!

I'm very sorry to hear about Tig. He was a great help to me when I was looking into handgun hunting and I will miss his input and friendliness.

I've been trying to find the words, and re-reading this post hoping it to change.Like some others he welcomed me to this site and helped me spend money.I could always count on Tig to help justify another purchase.May the Lord watch over his family and comfort them in this time.He will be missed and this post is a tribute to the person he was.

I'm with you Cottonstalk.
After he passed away I went back & looked in my pm file to see what the oldest PM I had saved between he & I was. 7yrs ago. That's a long time to know someone on the internet.
I hadn't talked to him about it but I was hoping to see him get well enough to make a trip up here for black bear... Guess I should have done it a couple years ago.

I personally did not know Dale, he did welcome me here and posted answers to my questions. All of the previous posts are a tribute to the man, seems like he cut a swath deep and wide. I truly believe Dale is in a better place, may his family and friends find peace in knowing that.

I know he was an expert in our area of interest here at Hand gun Hunter and else where... I know his view points will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
