I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope Santa puts everything you wish for under the tree. I'm blessed that my daughter is now living in Texas with me. That's all the gift I need.

I always look forward to the fall when all of you start sharing your stories and photos of your hunts and guns. I'm especially pleased to see so many hunters showing up here who are new to the sport. Some are even new to hunting and have been doing exceptionally well. Congratulations and thank you all for sharing your adventures.

We can all help grow the sport by inviting others to participate. Myself, I have recently cultivated two new handgun hunters who are now close friends of mine. It wasn't hard, all I really had to do was show them a few pictures and let them shoot a couple of my big bore guns and they got fired up. TJ (Shinola67) didn't own a real hunting handgun until about 18 months ago. Now he has several. His brother Kyle is just getting started but has already secured his first hunting handgun (an FA 454) and has taken several whitetail, blackbuck does and a scimitar oryx. Both are hooked... Now I will start working on a couple others who have expressed an interest in learning more about handgun hunting. I'm thrilled to see some of you starting up hunts which I'm sure will become annual events.

I hope everyone here enjoys this site as much as I do in providing a voice for the handgun hunter. We're still a minority but growing each day. We still have a couple good months to go before the seasons roll into spring so, Good Hunting and Merry Christmas.

Gary

Merry Christmas to you too, Gary! Thanks for keeping this site going; although it's cost me alot of money.

I think I just created a new handgun hunter a couple hours ago, myself. I was at the gun shop picking up my wife's Christmas present and a guy was looking at a scoped super blackhawk hunter. I asked him if he was into handgun hunting and he said no , but was thinking about a new challenge. Well after a few pic from my phone and a hour conversation about hunting; he's now on his way....

Gary,

Merry Christmas. I actually thought of you last Sat when I was on the toll road, missing Austin, enroute from SA to Dallas. Think about the YO next year.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Gary,
I'm new to the site myself but I've already gotten the handgun hunting juices flowing in my brother. Another opportunity to spend time with family doing what we love to do.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

This is the best bunch of folks I have ever run across, on some sites people seem to take on a certain personna, hiding behind a screen name, NOT HERE. My hat is off to everyone associated with this site, members and moderators alike. Thanx for keeping it friendly, informational and what it was intended for.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Everyone

As you know I haven't hunted much or shot a handgun for long. And some of the people I share my stories with "think I'm crazy". After all I should be shopping in the mall :-) I have enjoyed every minute of it, watching, listening and learning

Have a safe and Merry Christmas! And remember what it is really all about!
