So as most of you know. I've been looking for a SRH 454 Cylinder to build a 454 Redhawk. I have come across a like new SRH 7.5 454 Stainless here locally. Not the coated gray finish. The current owner bought it new last fall and says he has shot it 9 times.

Anyone here interested in the gun minus the cylinder/extractor assembly? You'd get the gun, crane, rings and box for 500 bucks shipped to your FFL.

Any takers? This should be a great gun for that .475 or .500 bigbore project.

Well, I picked it up today. This gun is LNIB. It was test fired by Ruger July 19 2010. Rings have never been on it. I got the two boxes of ammo the guy bought new and 9 rounds have been down the pipe. After I do my cylinder swap I'll have it for sale with close up pics of the bore, forcing cone, etc. But this gun is basically new.

That's a nice piece! I will let you know as soon as I find out from my buddy if he is interested.
