Beautiful fox, Gregg. Here's another "silver fox" from 1992, taken with S&W 629 .44 Mag.:

Gregg, that's awesome! Is that the one you had on trail camera? That is a beautiful trophy!!!

Thanks, guys! Gregg, that's awesome! Is that the one you had on trail camera? That is a beautiful trophy!!! You have a good memory, Kral! Actually, the answer is no, this one is smaller, however, I shot it in the same area. I have seen two or three, plus a bunch of reds.

Wow, Gregg beautiful fox. I sure miss seeing more of these from my time in the Conifer area. I am sure we have them down here, but every critter type here tends to be much more warry about being seen.

Great trophey, Gregg!! I've seen one around here in the last 10yrs or so.
It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

That is a beautiful animal. I had a carbine barrel in that caliber and I regret selling it. I should have had a gunsmith turn it into a Super 16.
What kind of scope do you have mounted on that? What kind of load did you use? Did you call him in or was it a shot of opportunity>? Thanks

What kind of scope do you have mounted on that? What kind of load did you use? Did you call him in or was it a shot of opportunity>? Thanks Thank you. The scope is an older Burris 7X, load is factory Hornady V-Max 17 grain bullet. I shot him off of a bait station that I had set up for coyotes. I had seen him and others (both reds and silvers) on the bait but didn't really want to bust a fox. Then my taxidermist offered me $$ for a Silver so I popped one the next chance I got.

That is a beautiful animal. I agree with those that suggested mounting it, by the way I just purchased your antelope/mule deer video recently and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Nice! The fox population has been pretty low here in last 20 years as far as I know, but in the last couple of years I have seen more than the previous 20. It's good to see them coming back.
