If anybody has read about my issues with a new ruger blackhawk hunter with bad machining I sent it away and just got it back today. Ruger took it no questions and had it back in less than two weeks. The rings seem to fit nicely. It shouldnt have had the problems to begin with but its nice to know a company stands behind their stuff. Ruger gets a thumbs up from me.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the fix. It is nice to know they stand behind it.

I have a Ruger SS SBH that I bought used. A few years ago a friend of mine and I were shooting it and the ejector rod and housing came off. As I was looking at it I saw the barrel had twisted and broke the screw that holds it on. I sent it back and less than two weeks I had it back with a new rod, housing, and barrel. Total cost- shipping to them. BUY A RUGER!
