Ok guys, with all the talk about hunting black bear with a handgun I'm getting jealous! Maybe someday but can't right now. Here is my question, which critters are on your to do list? Mine would have to be black bear and antelope (for starters). Lets hear whats on your list.

Boar maybe black bear,but after eatting steaks off of a boar that just furthers my wish on taking some with a handgun!

This year just deer, here and in ohio, going to miss my pennsylvania trip. In the future , hogs and a cow elk, someday I will get to Wyoming to try some long shooting at speed goats and deer.

Cape Buffalo is my dream hunt. Weather I can pull it off or not is another question. For the same money a guy can shoot multiple plains game so I guess that's another delima. Either way I'm definately planing a return trip.( Been there once)

Well the sheep have always been on my dream list,but reality is a nice buck locally,where I hunt in Ky,and maybe an elk tag for Ky.,and antelope.There are big dreams in my head and small funds in the wallet.

A real nice whitetail buck would be good,a moose or elk if I could ever get drawn here.The last two winters beat up the speed goats so bad I doubt if we will have a season on them.two winters ago we had 38% winter kill in the area I hunt.

I agree with you guys... why does all the fun stuff have to be so damn expensive!

Man, I would be more than happy to jjust kill some local stuff. Moose & black bear are both definetly on the list to chase with the handgun this year.
My brown bear tag from last year is still valid this spring, but I'll probably never draw another so I'm leaning toward the Marlin Guide Gun in 450 for that hunt. We'll see.

My Wife and I have had a conversation involving that very topic. As much as I would enjoy Africa, and as much as Mr. Ed keeps prodding... LOL, my goal is to hunt everything I can in North America!!!

I also would love to kill one of these big LA bucks I see on my camera every year and never see in the daylight.

Well, in the short term "This year".

Go on a hunt with my only son, not just a trip out the back door like usual but hopefully an Antelope hunt in WY and if we are extremely lucky in the ND lottery draw, a Muley hunt in the ND Badlands. We just got through his last year of high school wrestling and he finished 7th in the state at 140 lbs, so this fall it is off to college and who knows what else, want to do something memorable before I am to old and he has his own thing going on, my how the years have flown by.

As far as wish list goes, going back to Africa (this time with the short guns) is definitely on the list. Plains game primarily, but a buff would top it all for me.

And as long as I'm wishing, I'll throw in a brown bear, elk, moose, muley, and a host of other North American game that I would love to eventually pursue with the pistols.

This year, I may try to work in an antelope hunt along with the normal pursuits (whitetails, hogs, varmints).
