SSK Industries offers rechambering starting at $75 and they list the .458Win Mag. as an offering although I'm not sure if you can rechamber the .450 to the .458. I'm sure if you give them a call they can help you out. Let us know how it shoots if you get it done!

The headspase is to long for the 450 Marlin. .252" for the 450 Marlin and .220" for the 458. The 458 case would go into the chamber too far.

That is my own 458 Win Mag Encore. SS OTT Barrel with OTT brake. 2X Leupold scope and Express sights.
Very intense to hold, but very easy to fire thanks to the OTT brake.
I am a happy man for now

45nut,

How long is the barrel on your .458 and what are you hunting with it??? I've thought about buying one for my encore, but can't decide how much better it would be for me than my BFR 45/70 and stiff reloads using cast bullets. Have you tried some of the 500gr. loads yet and how's the recoil if you have?

Thanks!
