Thought about getting one but the f.o.v. is way too small in my opinion. Good price though.

It has a 32mm objective. I find it to have much more FOV then other hand gun scopes. I have owned one now for 2 years and absolutely love it. Going to call natchez in the morning to order another one for the NewBisley hunter I just picked up.

I bought one a few years back with the "firefly" reticle and thought the FOV was fine. Problem was the reticle was HUGE and the eye relief a little long for me. Glass was super clear. That is almost Trophy price, great value.

I just got 2 of them in TODAY for under 400.00 shipped to my door. I have an older 3200 that had a limited field of view. However, the two new ones have a generous FOV, just like the two FireFlys I have, and there cross hairs are nice and fine.

I would say they are a GREAT buy for the money.

I have read that the f.o.v. is 10 ft. at 100 yds on 2 x. Is this true or not? If it is false what is the fov? Heck I might buy one myself for my 454.

Checked Bushnell's website and it says a 10 ft. fov at 100 FT. on 2x and 4 ft. fov at 100 FT. on 6x. not YARDS but FEET. To all the owners of this scope do you agree with this when you look thru it? That means a 30 ft. fov. at 100 YARDS on 2x and a 12 ft. fov at 100 YARDS on 6x. Is this right?! If so I will be purchasing one for myself for sure!

I know thats what their info says, but it seems incorrect. I will have to check it out tomorrow. Just an FYI, SWFA, a major scope outlet, has these same scopes listed for 299.99.

I have not checked the FOV on my Elites. However, they are my choice for a variable scope. At 6x the FOV is not large, but I only use 6x when spotting targets on the range. When hunting, mine stay on 3x or 4x. Thus, I concluded that the fixed 4 will do the job for me. Just my humble opinion.

In addition, I have had several B&L elites, until the name was changed to Bushnell. Have also had several Bushnells. Never had a problem with one of them. In fact I have a few Banners that have also given good service.

TCMan, what is the fov according to the owners manual, if it says?

Its nice to be at the range and dial in the 6X. I usually keep it on 3 or 4X when hunting. This scope has been on my 460 S & W, 30-06, 44 Mag, and 454 Casull pistols. It is the only constant in my hunting handgun.

Mike I just looked them up. Both of them are in rifle boxes with rifle instructions. LOL

I will see if a have time to do some measuring tomorrow. I would put these 3200s in-between the Simmons and the Burris. They defiantly have more FOV than the 2-6 Simmons, but not as much as the 2-7 Burris.

OK, here is what I just got using a measuring tape. Distance is 83 yards to my measurement. HArd to do further in a residential neighborhood without freaking out the non natives.

2 power at 83 yards was 11'
6 power at 83 yards was 4.3'

My specs call for 10' and 4' at 100. Thats what the box says. ????

So that would be 13.25' @ 100 yards on 2x and 5.18' on 6x?

Doesn't seem like a lot, does it. It wouldn't spend much time on 6x anyway tho. Where do they set their parallax?

I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I shoot both eyes open. It makes aquiring and tracking the target so much easier. I find that the narrow FOV doesn't effect me with both eyes open.

That is why I use mostly dots and low power scopes. I don't look into a sight, but rather through it. I am fine up to 4x or so but I start to get a split-screen effect at higher powers. High X's are nice for sighting and load development tho, but I don't see the need for deer hunting, at least in our neck of the woods.

I had a problem at first with the higher power and both eyes open, but not anymore. I guess I just got use to it. But I find myself usually with the scope set on lower power then adjust up if need be.

Ok, I tried my best to take some pictures. The best I could do is 52 yards.

At full arms length I could see about a foot more on each side of the full sized truck with the Burris over the Bushnell. However, I still could see the entire truck with the Bushnell. On “max” power you are comparing apples and oranges. Because the Burris has such a short eye relief on 7 power I could actually see more clearly threw the Bushnell and pick up targets quicker. (With that being said, I am good with the Burris, but just a hairs breath better with the Bushnell.)

All of the 3200's basically have the same FOV. The older one has a lot of visible black on the inside giving it the illusion that it hinders its view. The firefly reticle covers up the outer edges do to the reticle being SO thick. The new one is very clear and is a pleasure to look threw. I can actually see progression in their scopes comparing the three I have. LOL.

I am going to apologize in advance for my pictures. In addition, I was having a REALLY hard time getting the pictures to turn out. That being said, some of the pictures don’t represent the fov of what I was seeing at full arms length, but the still are better than nothing. They are close...

Truck is at 52 yards

Old 3200 on 2 power.

Older 3200 on 6 power.(Looking at the licence plate )

3200 Firefly on 6 power, Back windshield

New 3200 on 2 power.

Burris on 2 power

Looks like the Burris win that contest. But for the money I still go with the 3200 and for size as well. The glass on the new 3200's is very clear.

On 2X, yes I would go with the Burris.

On "max" power I would actually lean towards the Bushnell.

Hey guys, I hope I made a good decision. I just bought a Bushnell Elite 3200 scope from NSS. The glass looks nice but I hope I'm not disappointed with the fov. A lot of you folks speak highly of them so I took a chance.
