I am guessing my MV's will be in the 2800-2850 fps range-Have not chronoed it yet.
Recoil is different from anything I have ever shot.
it is more of hard long push, than say like something trying to be ripped out of your hand.
The torque is what is most noticeable.
Neither hurts you, but it really moves it around.
I forgot to wear elbow pads, and I do have a small strawberry on my left elbow from the abrasion (not bruised though).

I don't know if I want a gun that requires elbow pads!

Hey Ernie,

When 500WE and I come up for the Antelope Hunt, maybe we can rendezvous with you and check some of your toys out on steel, if you are not too busy.

Nothing like inviting myself...

For the past couple of years you have been invited up to shoot some of my rigs during the antelope hunt and at other times...invitation is still open.

You are usually busier than me when it comes right down to it.

Now there was one afternoon when you shot my rear-grip, McRee stocked XP in 6.5-284 though at medium range.

Hey, i'm getting some new Big Eyes buddy (2 Meade telescopes mounted in a bracket). Should have 150X. So if u shoot that rig somewhere in Wy i can spot the bullets as they impact in any bordering state. May even be able to spot your shots from here in CO. Let me know the time and azimuth.
