This is my 7mm Rem Mag AI MOA.
Mac's Gunworks (Chuck) again did some magic on his mill with a piece of aluminum stock.
It is going to be sent off to be anodized next week, but wanted to show of his handi-work
This will now give me a longer wheel-base and keep my rigidity.
Sort of like having your cake and eating it too.

I could, but I don't know how accurate I would be with it at 100 yards.

I may just have to see what I can do with that

180 grain JLK @ 2685 fps. It sure shoots good to 1200 yards though from the prone position

If you were able to cut paper with it, I'd be VERY impressed. I think it'd take arms the size of Lou Ferrigno's to hold that thing steady off hand.

I bet that shoots pretty darn flat. Have you ever had the chance to take any game with it?

Brian.

Not as hard as you would think.
After your post I took it outside and played around holding off-hand (standing holding it with both hands).
That is what I call off-hand shooting.
I really do think I can hit paper at 100 with it.
Recoil is mild because of the Holland Radial brake.
Only thing I have killed with it is steel and paper.

Are you holding it with one hand on the forearm and one on the grip, or with both on the grip? I would imagine that holding it with both hands on the grip would be really, really tricky.

One hand on the grip and the other on the forend.
Even when I shoot 10" tubes on the MOA that are for IHMSA I shoot it that way.

I love my MOA and shot many 40's with it but that stupid loop had to go. It beat my knuckle so I sent for the open one. It still beat me.
I made a new one from stainless that makes the gun a pleasure to shoot--no more pain.

A question, are these equipped with an extractor or ejector? If an extractor can you actually do it hard or fast enough to "Eject" a spent round? Or would you have to reach in and grab it or tip the barrel up to get the case out? I'm thinking ease of operation from the bench or off of a bipod.

The good Lord gives us "Life" a "Window Of Opportunity" what we do with this opportunity, defines who we are and what we become.

Just an extractor, have to tip the gun.
No problem at all. The guns are so accurate you will get used to it.
See the circled group on the left target? That is 5 shots at 100 yards from the BFR I did when working loads. 3/8"!
