 first kill with new gun

I finally got my Ruger BH hunter shooting good and took it hunting this weekend. I shot it at 105 yards and was able to get a 10 to 12 inch group which should tighten up with practice, my 80 yard group was good. I was able to kill a 180 pound hog with some good tusk. I also shoot a big long beard (11 inch beard) with my shotgun. Hunt started slow but ended up being a success. I only hunted fri, sat and sun. I will try to post pics later.

GG,
Congratulations on the tusker! I envy a little those of you can be out hunting already. I'm scheduled for a bear hunt in May, and can hardly wait, but it's snowing like crazy here right now. Ahhh, spring time in Alaska. 
If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

Ya know, I sit in a spot and look at my revolvers a lot, thinking "what the heck am I doing with this thing" but then a deer comes in and it goes in the freezer.
