Here is my info I recieved from UPS Customer Service today per telephone conversation, concerning Non licensee shipment of handguns.

In a nutshell, They WILL NOT ACCEPT HANDGUNS from a Non licensee (no FFL) PERIOD. Unless they are going to factory or gunsmith, for modification or repair.

So I have to bring them to my FFL to ship them to his FFL. This is cheaper anyway, UPS shipping would have been more than what my FFL is charging me to handle it, and they can ship Priority Mail.

Just a little FYI

Fed-Ex has the exact same policy, but you hit the nail right on the head with FFl to FFl being cheaper with priority mail anyway. Especially in Alaska.
I wish I had known that when I sent my Mod. 29 to Mag-Na-Port a couple of years ago. $100.00 round trip on Fed-Ex.
