Seems like we havn't had a good Pic Request Thread in a while, and i'm getting all fired up with the deer starting to show some good antlers.(plus it's right in the middle of the off season for me)

I'm really bad about remembering to take cameras and about taking pics of me with my animals. I always get pics of my wife though.

Must have been a head shot on that pig. He looks a little bug eyed.

Happened to me once on a rabbit when I was a kid. 22 rifle to the head, and BOTH eyes popped right out, and were dangling.

That was the first game animal that I took that we ate. Tasted like chicken. Yum......ohh man, now I'm hungry. Great.

Yep that was my daughters first buck. Shhh don't tell anyone it was taken with a 30-30. She was 9. Can't believe she leaves for college in 5 1/2 months. That is going to be one of the hardest days in my life.

At one time I was "a person of interest" to the sucker at 50 yards. Didn't know these old legs could go so fast. No kids inside, but I think I saw a rusted liscense plate.

My dreams of making it to Africa ended this year when I lost my job of 18 years. Doubt I will ever make it back up to the money range I was at so looks like hogs and deer and the occasional elk for me. Should have done Africa 2 years ago when I was invited by a friend. Oh well, theres always the next lifetime!

Most pics are of your trophies; and that is great; I have some too that I could share.

But this photo is more suitable for me at this time; with my leg now 98% recovered;(as much as it ever will) where after the accident and in the ER at 2:00 a.m. that morning the docs thought they might have to amputate it. Thank the Good Lord a Doctor by the name of Mr. John Re....r was on call that night; he told me he thought he could save it, and he did. Sooo.... this photo signifies that my leg was well enough on its way to healing; to where I was able to get out and even do a little hunting.


The events of my case were so amazing that my ortho surgeon (John R) presented it during a national orthopaedic convention.

Oh BTW it is a custom .475 Linebaugh; headshot on a prairie dog.

The black sticky stuff was in a certain part of my anatomy after the hippo. Also found some after I did the elephant at 12 yards.
The kudu will be a pedistal mount. Backhide will be tanned for a rug on my trophy room floor.

James, I absolutely love that moose antler pic. That would make an awesome magazine cover.

Here is one of my favorite photos. It has my best huntin' buddy (wife aka Weezy), favorite gun (416 Barnes), and my all time #1 feral boar with a pistol.

There are three killers in this photo and I'm not one of them. LOL
