If I find a steal I may have to pick up another SS "handgun" for sheep or goat hnting someday. Thats pretty much how I obtained the JDJ, complete as you see it in the pic above. Picked it up from a fella online who needed money for another project. I paid $700 for it shipped to my local FFL, including the custom Williams brake, an action job and the new box of TC ammo. The Leupy scope and Georgia Jim wood alone will run you $700. To build a twin would cost ya $1500+.

It's a Ruger, converted by Jack Huntington to .500 JRH with his extended grip frame. It shoots even better than it looks!

The 378 GNR is a great caliber. I have more confidence in this round than any other. My gun shoots 225 gr. Hornady's, 260 gr. Nosler BT's and Accubonds, and 270 gr. Hornady's into 1.5" at 100 yards. The 260 grains travel at 2345 fps. and I can push the 225 grain bullets to almost 2500 fps. if I choose. It is overkill for many of the animals I have taken, but dead is dead.

I know what you mean Randominator, I hunt with a 376 Steyr alot. If I could only have one gun, it would be #1. Great range and power for everything & anything I'll ever hunt.

This came yesterday from Clements. It is a 44 mag that David did his tune on. He also added a 6.5 inch Express barrel. Gonna order a set of grips from Cary Chapman to finish it off.

this is one I'm just finishing up for a customer. this is a 45 Flattop I'm just finishing up. I found some blemishes in the blue so I'm going to re blue it. The barrel has been shortened to 3.5", with an Alpha Precision front sight. The grips are malted maple from Privates. The action is tuned to 2lbs and the ACP cylinder I modified to also except 45 Auto Rim. It has a mid frame Sheriffs model belt mtn base pin

Engraving is definitely an art and one which I won't even try but it's also a personal thing. I've thought I'd like an old Colt SAA or S&W Schofield with engraving and maybe a nice Henry or Winchester to match it but not for a work gun. I have a couple of the lazer engraved guns and they piss me off because I can part them out to build better guns out of them.

After spending a very long while looking at 20 pages of awesomeness, I have decided it would be a shame not to resurrect this thread. I present to you the Prasac Plinker. A 44 Mag Super Blackhawk sporting a tapered 10.5inch tube and Hogue toadskins (monogrips). Now lets see some more!
