Don't forget to email me all the pics, that sure is a nice buck if it weren't for the deductions because of the difference in points he'd be close to a Booner but he should do well in SCI. Have you done the SCI scores on them yet?

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Thanks everybody!
I will try and write a story soon.
Rod, I will be sending you those pics. As far as the SCI scores, I will be making an appointment with Stan, (SCI/B&C/P&Y Official Scorer) in the Denver area, when I get the heads back from my taxidermist. We will be entering them in the SCI Handgun Hunting Record Book if they meet the minimums.

Don't confuse shooting with hunting. Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.

Just a guess but I think they will make the SCI minimum no problem. B&C I don't like because of the deduction system, I think a buck should score what it scores regardless of whether the opposite point is a different length or if there are more points one side than the other.

My revolver is a custom .475 Linebaugh built by Dixie Firearms (wapitirod). I customized the grips with paint and by inlaying elk ivories. I am using my reloads with 25.5 gr. of H-110 pushing a 400 grain Hornady XTP bullet at around 1200 fps. The sight is a JPoint red dot.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

Gregg it's always nice to see a Muley on the site, and a good one at that. The majority are Whitetails and it's nice to see the Muleys once in a while (not that i have anything against Whitetails i just prefer to hunt Muleys).
Shot another Muley myself this year and will get the pictures up on the bragging board here in a couple days. He's not as big as yours but not bad. What is the minimum to get into SCI (just curious).
