I have a custom mold for my 460 smith that casts .454 bullets with a gas check shank. I am haveing a problem though. I am using a lyman 450 sizer lubricator with a .454 diamater sizing die. When i size and put the gas checks on the gas checks slip on the bottom of the bullet. I can turn them on the base but the will not come off. Could this cause accuracy issues? I have been having trouble getting them to shoot accurately. I have also tried a .452 sizing die and they will still slip also. Any info greatly appreciated. thank you
