I picked up my 5.5" 475 Linebaugh on Wednesday this week. Literally I zeroed the gun in with 4 shots, shot 8 more for fun then it was time to get moving to the field. Just about the time the sun set this fellow strolled in. One shot from 49 yards - he weighed 159 lbs. It was a double lung shot and he ran about 100 yards. I did see him jump a 4 ft. tree limb like he was a deer. Never have seen a pig jump like that but I guess it was either jump over it or run headlong into it.

Very nice Gary. Looks like a pretty good pig. What bullet did you use on him? What ever it was, it looks like it worked well..

I used the 325 Speer Deep Curl. I have been shooting that load for a couple years and it's very accurate.

Congrats on the christening! That's a great way to break it in. I'd like to see some closer pics of the 475L when time permits.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Congrats! That's a good one.

That is one sharp revolver. Nice porker as well.
Rod, too.
