Here is a coupe of 44's I have been playing around with. I shot half a dozen bullets into a big old wet honey locus log, that is deteriorated, at two different sections. With the data have, it should be well over 200 yards before that bullet hits the 900fps mark. In fact, It should still be moving around 1075fps at 100 yads. Not to shabby IMHO... Left-air cooled WW at 900 fps Right-air cooled WW at 1200fps

You pour those yerself Duane? They look like they should get the job done nicely.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

The gas checked ones I have shot really good out of my gun with 23 gr of Alliant 300 MP. I'll get the ones I have left back to you so you have more to play with.

Those look great. We have a couple of hollow point molds. One particularly nasty one is for .41 magnums. It is adjustable. You can have a 1/2" deep crater in it if you want. reflex264

Thanks to all for the feedback!!
Rod, yes sir, I poured those myself.
My goal was to be able to make my owe casts that were at least comperable to what I can buy. I have just seen to many bullets that have been discontinued, or like right now, just hard to find.
It is my preferred cup of tea. Some like it in a NRA Coffee Mug... LOL

Very nice looking projectiles, shouldn't have any issues poking holes in critters.

I shot the bullets into an old rotten log about 24in thick.
Mold is a NOE RG. It is a clone of the Lyman Keith mold.
