Well this dosn't have anything to do with handguns or hunting really but I consider alot of you guys my friends and I know Dan had a similiar experience last year. As some of you know I have a couple horses both nine yr olds in excellent condition, we were over feeding them the other night and all was fine, but I got a call wed. morning that one of them was down, sure enough my wife/kids horse was dead, we had a vet do a necropsy to make sure it was nothing that would effect our other horse but they were unable to determine the cause of death, we sent some feed in for analysis but so far no report. needless to say it's been pretty glum around here and now with my vet bills are a big part of why I went scrounging through the gun room to gather the odds and ends I posted. All of you that have bought stuff from me recently have helped greatly with both my business that I'm gearing up for and with my vet bills. I realize you guys are getting what I hope you feel are good and fair deals from me but I just wanted to say your a great bunch of guys and I hope I get to meet all of you at some point.

What a tough time this must be for you all. You all have my sincere condolences and hopes that the pain will fade quickly, but the good memories will last your lifetimes.

For me, I think I got a VERY good deal on the brass I bought from you. To have you send it on faith that I was sending the funds on this end (got the check in the mail today)- well, that's above and beyond the call, but I also see it as a part of being involved in this great community. The people we deal with here are, in my opinion, some of the most honest and trustworthy folks you'll ever meet.

Rod, I know the feeling. We have an Arabian Horse Ranch here, and over the last 36 years that has happened to us with personal horses on several occasions. Let us know if there is anything we can do!
