This is my all time favorite hunting sixgun. It has accounted for a good number of whitetail, hogs, exotics, etc. Always is 100% dependable and shoots groups that will make a rifle shooter blush. If something comes up on short notice and I know that I need something that will put anything I would come across down, this is THE one gun I will always grab just because I have so much trigger time behind it and have an almost unhealthy trust in. Has been in retirement the last few years but I'm pulling him back out. Have several slugs I'm wanting to test and there is no better platform than this. we will see what he can stack up this year in the process....

You have to love the FA inverted crown with the octagon barrel

It is gorgeous!

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Pretty. What size is the hole?

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

This is the usual 454. I had about 10,000 rounds through it and very few were lower end when I had it rebarreled a few years ago. Since, I shot a few deer and a couple pigs with the standard 260 train FA bullet at about 1900 fps. Kills like lightning.

One of these days, one of my barrels will morph into an octagon...until then, I'll just drool on yours. Great looking pistola
