watch out for this person:
isoldit.ca093
I bought an encore 454 barrel from them and they stated in the ad "This is a BRAND NEW IN BOX Thompson Center Arms Encore 454 Casull Item No. 537 12" Barrel. Here is your chance to bid on and possibly own this exceptional quality Thompson barrel. This item is brand new and in its original box and has never been attached or shot.

Features:

Thompson Center Arms
Encore
454 Casull
1537
12"
Blued Finish
BARREL ONLY
Bid now for your chance to win!" But when I got it it was well shot had frame marks.
They are listing several barrels the same way

need to find a tall tree and a short piece of rope

Everyone,
That is a vendor that sells items for other people. They have several place though out the states. They probably listed the item as they were told too. Kinda sneaky...that way the listing service take the negative feedback! Still wrong but still use caution.

they are a place that people got to move goods A new twist on a pawn shop. when I tole them the barrel was used they sent me an email back stating that it was a "display sample" this bit of information should have been placed in the ad. Just because a person tells them something doesn't mean it is true, and they are responsable for the listing not the person that brought it in so they should do everything they can to be as honest as the can, I told them that they need to change the listing style to state that this barrel was brought in to us as new but we can not verify this, and give an accurate description of it. If I knew this before I bid that would be different

Looking trought the box before I trash it. I found a paper stuck in the bottom. giving some information about the contender and encore barrels. This is something they made up not taken from any website. on it, it tells me it has a 1 in 16" twist adjustable sights. then it has a pisture of an encore barrel with the product#, manufacture #, and "our price:$226.99.

so They do have a clue about contenders and encores. no excuse for them listing a used barrel as new but to try and get the price up and scam people

rickyp, i've been watching one of their barrels too....in 44 mag. from the pictures i would say it is new, but i think i may pass on it if you've had trouble. there'll always be another on there at some point. thanks for the notice and if i were you, i would contact ebay about it. it clearly states in the ad that you can return it if it's not as described. of course you'll lose the shipping even if they let you return it. BUYER BEWARE!!

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a handgun today.

the pictures of the one I bought looked new as well, the only thing I saw was 2 screws in the barrel for the forend. this person has a S.S. 223 barrel listed as well it is listed as new but it has a lot of rust on the sights.

He was quick to say he will take it back but he wanted me to ship it back to him then he would refund my money, Yeah right. If he was honest he would refund my money first.hey broke the trust by lying in the ad
