Can .356 (9 mm) cast bullets be loaded in .38?

I found a box of 125 gr round nose cast bullets by Hunters Specialty and I don't have a 9mm anymore. Ian interested in a very light plinking load using W231.

Thanks,
Gary

Do you know the exact groove diameter of your gun's barrel? You like lead bullets to be about .001" larger than the hole, no smaller.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I'll do some research. I'll be shooting them in a S&W mod 67.

I suspect they will shoot, however I doubt they will shoot well and may also show leading issues.

If you load them to mouse fart levels they will probably work for low power plinking loads.

Should work OK? Remember, the diameter of these must closely match your revolver, though.
