I'd like to go to Alaska and try to get a caribou, brown/grizzly bear, and a wolf.
Alternatively, I'd go to Africa to hunt kudu, impala, maybe a jackal, and a leopard.
All with a handgun, of course.

Well......I have two, first would be a western hunt, elk, mule deer, and Pronghorn, 2nd would be Alaska, Bear, Caribou, and Moose, I"d use one of my Encores, probably the 308, or the 30-06, I would also be wearing a big bore belt gun.

At this point my dream hunt is to finally connect with my wheelgun... Bear, Sheep, Moose, either one or all three! I'm not picky.

I have said it before: Polar Bear.
And I like the idea of a Tiger! But the funds just are not there yet...

Lone Wolf: 5 problem elephants south of Kruger. He saw me at 30-40 yds. Eyes locked on me. Full blown charge: ears out, truck tucked underneath body. I had a 2-7X Simmons on my .416 Taylor. Had heck of a time finding landmarks on head for a brain shot on 2X. All I could see was grey. PH keep saying shot. I poped a cap at 12 yards....12 yards. Hit just a hair high. Knocked him down. Got up. Put one behind shoulder. Still ran. Dropped him with a spine shot. PH and I had to change underwear before photos! I did 2 of the other 4, but park rangers wouldn't let me take photos. All this occurred in a photographic park. Elephants were attacking tree huggers and ruining their photos.

When I said cape buffalo earlier I had forgotten that my bison was the previous dream. That head now resides on my wall.

Since I got an antelope last year (though not with my handgun), next on my list is a black bear. I'm gonna try later for an antelope with my handgun.

Mine is a little different. One dream hunt for me would be able to go back down to the NM / Mexico border to hunt and camp for javelina. I stopped a number of years ago due to all of the "traffic" down there.
So I guess my dream is the southern border to be like the "good old days". I'll never go to Africa, but the terrain, fauna and flora down that way is so much different than the timbered land that I usually hunt big game, that it gave me a feeling like I was on another planet.

Mine has always been an elk. Or at least since I was ten or eleven. The choice of firearms has changed over the years but not the dream. Now that I have two sons maybe the three of us will get to do it together.
