With a full length bedding block.

Arrived at my house looking like this:

But, after an hour in my Cave, it looked like this:

It "was" a Choate Ultimate Varmint Rifle Stock with full length bedding block. Now, it is a Specialty Pistol stock for my current build.

Action should be here next week. Barrel, trigger, base, rings, and scope are already acquired.

That stock was only $200. Not bad. But, it definitely is a BEAST!! Heavy (nice for recoil) and long (barrel will have to be 15" min to clear forend)!

Coming along nicely.

Yeah, but I actually want it that long. This one is not going to be a compact lightweight. I have that with other SPs. This one is planned for more bench work or static hunting.

I may even set it up for night work. Haven't fully decided yet.

Just depends if all pieces parts are compatible with a pistol scope.

Most clip on will work with handgun scopes. Just may need to have some delrin adapters made

Concerned about the distance between a pistol scope objective and a forward mounted device. And how easy it will be to see when not operating at rifle scope eye relief.

Nothing to do but try it out, I guess.
