This past January, I had the opportunity to shoot a friends 1st Generation Coonan 357 Magnum. After ringing steel with a variety of loads, I knew that it wouldn't be long until one followed me home... Fast forward 210 days or so, and presto! Adjustable sights, 2 sets of grips, and a very nice stock trigger...I see some significant carry time in the swamp this year in its future! So far, I've shot it indoors (cage rattler) at limited distance, digesting the 125, 140 and 158 gr pills effectively. I'll stretch it out soon and decide on a load.

Ooh, nice. Don't think I've ever seen one of those.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I had one. Nice and shot good but didn't fit my program. It wold get at least 150fps more than a 6" security 6 with the same load.

That's a new one for me as well. Looks like a nice piece. Congratulations!
If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

I have a bud with one of those. Nice piece there, Dur!
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

No James, mean would be... "James, I got this special pistol for you for your birth...On second thought I mean, look at my new pistol! Ain't it cool?" As a lovely consolation prize, I will let you shoot it James.
