Just WOW. Looking back over this thread from the beginning I am amazed at the quality of bucks. Much impressed. Some of y'all are very blessed to be able to hunt/live in such productive areas. Doesn't hurt being dang good shots with the shortgun too. This guy's headgear has graced my wall for over 2 decades, but it's been downhill ever since. Just a few meat bucks and does. There's always next year tho and hope springs eternal, ha.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Rod, that rack is more than impressive 👍 & you can't eat the antlers. Meat does and bucks are handgun trophies too. Thanks for posting buddy

Thanks guys, he's a 14 pointer, that came 30 yards from the tree stand with three other bucks. I was trying to get a shot at the doe that winded me when he came in behind me. I heard something walking behind me, turned and fired. BBD!

OK...so the gun is bigger than the deer. It was just in the wrong place when I wanted to see how the MAX would perform.

It is good to see a Max out in the field doing work instead of sitting in a collector's case gathering dust.
