Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to have an answer for me on this one:
https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/719020391
After some really long research I finally went forward on buying a BFR in 480/475. They had the above on Buds' so I put it on layaway.
Before I did I clicked on the little blue box to ask questions because the picture shows a Bisley grip with white grips. I ask rep which gun it is and he says black grips as in picture from BFR site.
when I look up the model number I get this:
http://www.magnumresearch.com/firearms/m...ctBoxCustomDesc
Bisley grip with newer rubber grip - the one I actually want.
But he couldnt be sure but if its wrong one I can refuse shipment.
I tried to do more googling but nothing until I google UPC listed on Buds Site all I get is pictures of white grip Bisley style.
My question is, does anyone on here know?
Im going to call BFR on monday but until then Im trying to hunt around the answer.
Then the second question; can I buy that new black grip and just put it on?
Sorry for the long winded questions but I want to make sure its the right one. Ive shot my buddies 475/480 with black grips i newer frame and loved it.

The photo from Bud's is a stock photo. They move a ton of firearms, go by the listing that's posted.

So Bisley grip with white grips?
If so can I buy the new rubber style grip? The rubber grip is the older gun I believe, pre-bisley.
Rod, too.

If you look at the model number it ends in a 'B', which indicates Bisley. The MR website doesn't list any 'B' suffix guns which is why you get that stock picture of the old gun, pre-bisley. If you want the old gun with the rubber grips you need this one, even though the pic shows the longs cylinder the model number is BFR480/4757 (no B): https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411549884
Rod, too.

My friend had the new style grip in black which I shot, I do like the Bisley look just not the white grips. Id prefer black.
Is there anyone selling grips for the Bisley BFR?

Are you sure he had a bisley gripped gun? I think Ive got it confused with the new black grip that I thought was a bisley grip.
With it being undercut more I thought the rubber was just taking up more of the grip at the bottom . I didnt realize that it was a plow handle with the new rubber grip.
I called my buddy and he confirmed its the plow handle but with the newly designed rubber grip.
I was turned around with the part number vs the upc then in the description it says black grip but shows white.
Im just happy that its the bisley grip but would prefer a black grip. As a plus the price just went up 100.00. I got it for 945.00
I just wonder why they only list it as a 480 Ruger and not 475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger? BFR only lists the475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger not just the 480 Ruger. To my knowledge they never made the 480 Ruger only cylinder

I like the looks of the bfr bisley. I?m thinking of ordering one in 454. Their stock photos are a little crazy. I saw a picture of a bisley bfr listed as a 480 desert eagle.

The Customer Service number to call and order any BFR Bisley or Custom Ordered model is 1-218-746-3459 or email info@magnumresearch.com. The email method of contact is fool proof IF you can express fully what you wish to have in your custom or standard BFR configuration. After ordering you must designate what FFL holder you wish to have the gun shipped too. Very simple and direct so I thought I would share it here to help alleviate any BFR ordering confusion. Of Course, you must have money in hand to get the order in because money talks.

The standard Bisley grip comes in white. You can go through the Custom Shop, using the information I shared earlier, and get black micarta Bisley grips that are fitted by the Custom Shop at BFR. The rubber grip installed over the standard plow-handle grip does not meet my personal needs.
