My new 7mm Dakota XP-100 finally drew blood earlier in the month on a management mule deer. Shot was under 200 yards, from a double kneeling position using Bog Gear with their now discontinued PSR Top. 175 ELD-X put the buck down in less than 40 yards from the shot (which has been kind of the same thing happens every time-so far). I quartered the buck in the field, so I do not have an autopsy report like some give here in great detail. Enjoyable day for sure. This XP shoots stupid good. When stack shots on top of each other from 750 yards on out, it kind of make you feel good about your XP!

Beautiful mulie! If that?s a management buck, I can?t imagine their shooter bucks!

That is a fine looking deer with a fine looking XP. I suspect 200 yards didn't stretch its legs.

I would think that any handgun hunter would be proud to tag that one. Great Job.

Really nice conditions.
I did have to stop and warm my hands up one time, but after that all was good.

Only taken it out to a grand so far. Plan to run it further in the future.
It's fun to shoot!
