Grandson took his first squirrel with a handgun today, head shot. The ol'e man has taught him well.😄

Congrats on the squirrel! If you can hit something that small you won't have trouble with a deer! I know you will be using a larger caliber but it appears you have that hunters eye. I think you will do well.

Took his first deer ever four years ago with a GP100, just couldn't get him into small game with a revolver.

That's awesome!
Any size trophy with a handgun demonstrates ones skill as a hunter. Head shots on a squirrel shows outstanding accuracy as well.
