Thinking about using one of these no drill mounts on my Ruger Blackhawk 10 mm to Mount a Sig Romeo 5 red dot I have. Anyone ever use this particular mounting system. I know a drilled mount would be better, but not going to drill it. Looks solid and 10mm recoil is mild.

I have the Super RedHawk version on my 9.5" 480 Ruger. I have been very impressed with it. I have never read anything negative about his mounts that I can recall.

I have several different versions of Weigand?s no drill, no tap mounts and they work very well. I?ve had no negative issues with them.

I just had both a mount and rings put on my super blackhawk hunter. So far they are rock solid!

Use them on my Blackhawks and just mounted one on a 454C Redhawk. No problems and no complaints.

I have them on everything from .22 to .44, never an issue. I would recommend the Mini Mount, it's just a little cleaner looking.

I like how clean the mini looks, but it looks like it attaches by only one screw? The regular Mount appears to lock in to the barrel and ejector rod housing as well as the rear site screw hole.

Yes! uses one screw, the same screw as the open sights and has a front set screw.

I've used both the small and the regular mount. They both work very well.

muddydog, I?ve got one on my X Frame 460, so far so good. Was a perfect fit, and seems to be well made/designed! memtb

WEIGAND MAKES SCOPE MOUNTS AND "MINI MOUNTS", THE LATTER BEING FOR SMALL RED DOT OPTICS, e.g. THE BURRIS FAST FIRE, AND NOT FOR HEAVIER OPTICS LIKE SCOPES, AT LEAST THAT IS MY UNDERSTANDING.
"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.
