Has anyone bought one of these, or know someone that has? I?m thinking of the 308 version as a deer ?hand rifle?

No.....but dang i think its pretty cool. Just wish they added a wee bit of barrel length. There are lots of people that are against it for one reason or another. Every bolt gun cant be a 1975 xp100, a $3000 built gun, or pretty pink and purple.
I vote you buy one, use it and kill some deer 😃
Kentucky….no place like home.

Had to look that one up. Interesting but I don't think I'd want to shoot a .308 out of a 10.5 inch barrel. Got enough of a boost from that in a 15" barrel out of my Encore...
Should have kept the Encore.

THERE WAS A TOPIC ON THAT GUN SOMEWHERE, EITHER HERE OR SINGLEACTIONPROBOARDS, A WHILE BACK. WHILE HANDGUN HUNTERS MAY NEED AN AFFORDABLE XP, THIS THING, IMHO, IS NOT THE ANSWER.
"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

Seems expensive to buy and add an aftermarket barrel right away. If I was looking for a pistol that I wanted to put a suppressor on it would make sense. I think they focused their market too much to generate broad adoption.

The barrel lengths and lack of chamberings isn't doing it any favors. If they would just add other 308 based cartridges with 14-15" barrels, they'd have a pretty decent rig. Heck, if they put some of the short magnum cartridges in it with the appropriate barrel, it'd probably be a great long range specialty pistol for the price.

I thought about one for a minute or two. Too much money and too heavy. I just wanted one to add a SB Tactical brace to for a long trek packing weapon that could be shoulder mounted if need be 😇

I have the 308 with the muzzle brake the recoil is not much at all. Incredibly accurate gun cool but kinda big for handgun because of the long action.
You can't fix stupid!

It seems to me that this gun isn't intended to fill the need for a specialty pistol, but rather a work-around of the SBR rules. It looks intentionally designed to attach a "pistol brace" and suppressor to. The good news its that we now have more pistol-designated actions out there.
